- What type(s) of mobile payment system(s) should the World Bank encourage across its client countries and why?
- What policy and other issues are relevant to determining whether a payment system is likely to operate effectively in specific client countries?
- What are the main risks to users’ funds stored within new mobile-payment systems to protect the user if the provider enters bankruptcy proceedings?
- What policy issues arise when designing legal and regulatory strategies to address those risks?
